Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Jungle Pathways, we aim for a transparent, fair and customer-friendly booking experience for guests exploring the Jawai Leopard Reserve. Below are our cancellation, rescheduling and refund rules.


1. Private Safari Booking Cancellations

Cancellations for private Jawai safari bookings follow this schedule:

  • 7 days or more before the safari date: Full refund (transaction/gateway charges excluded).
  • 3 to 6 days before the safari date: 50% refund of the booking amount.
  • Within 48 hours of the safari: No refund (operational arrangements already reserved).
  • No-show / delayed arrival: No refund and no complimentary rescheduling.

2. Guest Satisfaction Guarantee — Conditional Full Refund

  • Inform our team on the same day of the safari if service did not meet expected standards.
  • Valid reasons: service quality, comfort, safety, or hospitality. (Wildlife sightings are not covered.)
  • A minimum operational charge of ₹2,500 will be deducted to cover fuel & coordination.
  • Refunds issued only after internal review and approval.

3. Hotel & Accommodation Cancellation

  • 10+ days before check-in: Full refund (excluding service/gateway charges).
  • 5 to 9 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total amount.
  • 4 days or less before check-in: No refund (booking becomes non-refundable by the property).

4. Rescheduling Policy

One-time date change allowed for private safaris if:

The request is made minimum 72 hours before the safari

The new slot is available

No additional cost applies for the first rescheduling

5. Refund Processing Timelines

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the same payment method used during booking..
  • Bank charges, transaction fees, or payment gateway deductions are non-refundable.
  • For payments via Razorpay, PayPal, or similar platforms, their respective processing timelines will apply.
  • ✓ Heavy rainfall or unsafe weather
  • ✓ Government or forest authority restrictions
  • ✓ Unavoidable operational issues
  • Jungle Pathways may postpone or cancel the safari. In such cases, guests may choose:

    • A full refund, OR
    • Rescheduling to another available date, without any extra charges.

    7. Special Refund Exceptions (Emergency Grounds)

    In extraordinary situations like medical emergencies or compassionate cases, refunds may be approved outside the standard cancellation window.

    • Minimum ₹2,500 will be deducted for fuel and operational expenses.
    • Final approval will be based on documentation and internal evaluation.
